Whenever you’re learning a difficult topic, your brain needs to process the information to make the foundation of the concept. Suppose you’re in a class and your teacher is talking about the important topics which are likely to come into the exam, now what if that teacher came and burst all those topics on student’s face and walked out of the class, now the problem arises here is no one is able to hear the topics properly and you can’t even ask the teacher because he walked out of the class. When The Instructor Is Already A Fast Speaker :

Some people do speak faster than others and if your online instructor is one of them you have to be careful before pressing the 2x button as so because you will struggle with catching their words and also your grasping power will decrease because you need to understand your brain is just like any other machine there is a capacity of how fast you here and how much you understand. So don't let your mind fool you it makes you think that you are learning when you are only completing it.

When You’re Not Familiar With The Instructor's Way Of Speaking

When the instructor happens to be from different background like from a different country, different cultural background or just having an age gap between you and the instructor there can be a possibility that the person who is teaching different verbal expression than you and most of the people around you, for example, I can say British and American English. In some cases, you may need subtitles to understand, and if that case you turn 2x then subtitles also not going to work for you.
