In India, we eat raw fennel seeds because of its property which help in digestion and there is also scientific evidence showing that having fennel tea after a meal helps you to reduce weight.

The benefits of fennel tea have a long range from hair to body to mind and so much more but I am giving you more concise answers as talking about all of them will make the article so long. Less sleepy after a meal 

Students are often suggested with the idea of not having a heavy meal because they will feel sleepy but students actually need more energy while studying and it's not good for students always snack while studying even it is the most common cause of weight gain in students. Let me help you there, having fennel tea after a meal will take only 10-15 mins to make you feel light again no matter how heavy a meal you have, and having a good nutritious meal will prevent you from snacking and weight gain.


Feel good and fight depression 

Fennel seeds are a great source of potassium which helps your body to effectively use serotonin which helps you to reduce stress and anxiety. Even the smell of fennel seed will make you smile I am sure of that, apart from that it helps in the regulation of hormones. As a student you must get irritated with the tight study schedule and assignment submission dates, Why don’t you give it a shot?


Reduce weight and feel more active

Being overweight itself is not an issue but the problems that come with it sometimes become intolerable. Always feeling low in energy and easily getting tired, and if you are a girl it can get worse with body pain. Working out on your weight is as much as important as your studies, fennel seed tea also helps in weight loss, you just need to drink a cup after your meal but it’s not a weight loss drink you can't solely depend upon it. 


How to make fennel tea? 

Here I will share with you the simplest method you can get started with this ritual of fennel tea after your next meal. To make fennel tea you need fennel seeds and a cup of water. How much seed with how much water is pure up to your taste but I suggest you the lesser the seeds lighter the color of the tea and the tastier it.


  1. After your meal, take a cup of water.

  2. After boiling it for 2 min add some fennel tea and half cup of water.

  3. Go and lie down on your left side of the stomach for 5 min.

  4. Turn the gas off, filter the tea and go to study. 




 Fennel seeds are so amazing that you can make their tea with like anything, you can be really creative with. Try it with milk, and jaggery, and even try eating it raw if you don't feel like making tea. You can eat with sugar, that will be a real dessert after your meal.
